Fame always brings loneliness.

Success is as ice cold and lonely as the

North Pole.

" dear my love, this world is not a wish granting factory: but please believe that you will get everything you need sooner or later, trust me. and please remember that the things you need, are not always good. it may be bad, but what is good when there is no bad, right? iI wish you to be happier, i wish you to be wiser, i wish you to be more mature to face everything in your life. happy birthday, viktor. "

the russian was listening attentively to his fiancé’s carefully chosen words. it was almost as if yuuri had climbed into his brain, listened to his very thoughts, and wrote out the perfect words to say.

after victor’s concentrated silence passed, a small, thankful smile turned up the inner corners of his brows and tugged at the outer corners of his lips. tears did not fall, but azure hues became glassy.

without speaking, victor wrapped thankful arms around yuuri; and they held onto him for dear life. clenched lids and scrunched up nose pressed against the nook of his fiancé’s neck as he let out a trembling sigh.

❝ thank you, yuuri, ❞ he uttered just after he pulled his face back a smidge, leaning back down to press a chaste kiss to the other’s neck.
❝ truly. i can’t imagine where i would be right now if i hadn’t become your coach.
               ❝ i don’t want to imagine… ❞

lifting his head, he rested his hands against yuuri’s shoulders and squeezed them as a way of grounding himself — his emotions. the smile on his face became more emotional, more loving, before he flung his arms back around yuuri with crushing enthusiasm.

     ❝ i love you, yuuri katsuki ! ❞
