Yuuri obediently remained in the corner of the ambulance. He wanted so badly to be by Viktor’s side. He wanted to hold his hand and care for him. But the paramedics could do so much more than he could. So he waited, keeping a close watch on him with worried eyes. And before he could get close to him they were at the hospital and Yuuri was left in the waiting room as they took Viktor away. Tears began to stream down his face a lot faster now that he wasn’t there to even watch how he was doing.
The paramedics gave Victor pain medication,
so now that the panic had passed and they told him
he would be fine, he felt wonderful. The nurses
assisted him in changing into a hospital gown and
he relaxed back into the hospital bed. After he
had a brief conversation with his doctor, he asked
to see the man who rode with him in the paramedic.
❝ He’s my fiancé. ❞
A nurse came out to fetch him in the waiting
room, then led him to the room where Yuuri lie waiting,
a soft smile crossing his face when he saw Yuuri.
Voice cracking and eyes glistening, he spoke:
❝ H e y. ❞
